Description
The rod iron steel, made of steel of quality St0, St1, St2, St3, has the most widespread diameters - 6,5mm, 8 mm and 10 mm. However, the rod iron is produced also by the sizes 5,0; 5,5; 6,0; 6,3; 6,5; 7,0; 8,0 and 9,0 mm.
The rod iron in the majority is used for production pro-wolves, and also for production of reinforcing frameworks, grids.
The wire the rod iron from carbonaceous steel applied to a banner on a wire has specifications which are regulated by DSTU2770-94 (GOST30136-95) (analog the international ISO8457/1-89 standard).
Distinguish several ways of cooling of a rod iron. The rod iron can be subject to single-stage cooling (U01), two-phasic cooling (U02), and also cooling on air (IN).
Diameters of a rod iron, maximum deviations on diameter, cross-sectional area and the weight of one meter of length have to correspond to GOST 2590. On rolling accuracy the rod iron is produced:
